Timothy - for your herbivore

All herbivores adore Timothy (Phleum pratense) as it is a highly palatable grass.  It is great for your rabbits and guinea pigs to graze on in their run area.  Timothy grass can be grown in pots if you just want a small patch of timothy.  Or, grow a patch of timothy in your garden, cut it and dry it for a fresh supply of hay.  

Timothy is also safe for leopard and Mediterranean tortoises to graze.  It is a great source of fibre for them.

1kg of Timothy seed, contains approx. 2,500 000 seeds, that's a lot of plants! 

If looked after Timothy will last 10 years
