Amenity grass seed, the general rule is:

0-50% healthy grass present - Bare ground sowing rate of 50g per m2.

(50g x m2) / 1000 = kg required

More than 50% healthy grass present - Over sow sowing rate of 25g per m2

(25g x m2) / 1000 = kg required

 

Agricultural grass seed, the general rule is:

14kg per Acre
