Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass

Smooth stalked meadow grass (aka kentucky bluegrass) has a creeping root system with rhizomes making it tolerant of drought conditions.  It is slow growing in height and short at a maximum height of 300mm.  This makes it a low mowing grass variety, helpful for embankments.  It can also be cut short.  It is a dense grass and grows in tufts giving a thick mat look to your lawn.

Sowing rate:

• Bare ground - 50g/m2
• Over sow - 25g/m2

Mowing Height: 10-15m
