Slender Creeping Red Fescue Grass

Slender creeping red fescue is a fine leafed creeping grass that establishes quickly.  It grows densely in tufts giving a thick mat look to your lawn. It has a creeping root system so its is really good at holding together the top soil, this can be important if seeding an embankment.  It is tolerant of poor soil conditions and drought.  It is slow growing in height and therefore requires minimal mowing.  It can cope being cut short.

Sowing Rate:

• Bare ground - 50g/m2
• Over sow - 25g/m2

Mowing Height: 5-10mm
