DOT Road verges is the mix specified by the Department of Transport for use on road verges across the UK.  This mix consists of grass varieties that can tolerate poor soil conditions and are salt and exhust fume tolerant.  It is quick to establish and of short growth height.

Mixture:

• 25% Perennial Rye Grass
• 20% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
• 30% Hard Fescue
• 10% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass
• 10% Brown Top Bent
• 5% White Clover
