Puna II is the leading perennial chicory variety, selected through a long-term breeding programme in New Zealand for its nutritive value, productivity, palatability and persistency.
Puna II is a broad-leaved perennial forage crop that can be grown in the UK as a pure stand, or as a key part of mixed swards with clover, or grass and clover, for medium-long term rotational grazing (2-5 year persistency).
