Grass Tennis Court & Cricket Wicket Mix

This mix creates a dense and compact turf that is great for ball bounce and speed.  The dwarf perennial rye grass is extremely hard wearing and can cope with heavy footfall and rough play.  The fescues have creeping root systems that help hold the soil together and reduce damage to the turf.  Brown top bent is a fine leaf grass but produces a dense mat like turf.  Frequent mowing and rolling is required to keep this turf in the best condition for ball play.

• 30% Chewings Fescue
• 15% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
• 10% Brown Top Bent

• Bare ground - 50g/m2
• Over sow - 25g/m2
