This mix is a traditional blend of fine grasses that produce a dense turf that is resistant to wear.  This mix is made up of creeping grasses that knit together and are slow growing so less mowing is required compared to rye grass mixes.  The inclusion of smooth stalked meadow grass improves the drought tolerance of this mix. 

Ingredients:

• 30% Chewings Fescue
• 30% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
• 20% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
• 10% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass
• 10% Brown Top Bent

Sowing Rates:

• Bare ground - 40g/m2
• Over sow - 20g/m2

Mowing Height: 15mm
