Chewings Fescue Grass

Chewings fescue is a fine leafed tufted grass.  It is the most tolerant of grasses for shaded conditions, therefore great for North facing gardens.  It can tolerate poor soil conditions and drought conditions.  It has a high leaf density and keeps its green colour all year round giving the lawn a lushious look even during the winter months.  Its shallow roots help hold the top soil together.

Sowing Rates:

• Bare ground - 50g/m2
• Over sow - 25g/m2

Mowing Height: 5-10mm
