This is a luxurious bowling green mixture that provides the highest of quality playing turf.  This mix will give a beautiful green playing surface that can handle soft play traffic.  Chewings fescue is good for shady areas and can be cut very short.  It is a soft grass so the bowls will roll and not bounce.  Brown top bent grows in thick dense tufts and can be cut very short.  It has a deep green colour and still looks good when cut short.  The shallow root system helps hold the top soil together.

• 80% Chewings Fescue
• 20% Brown Top Bent

Sowing Rate:

• Bare ground - 50g/m2
• Over sow - 25g/m2

Mowing Height: down to 5mm
