Snow Mould & Fusarium Pink Patch
Identifying markers:
- White patches in lawn, on closer inspection candy floss fluff spread across the lawn.
- Usually caused by long spells of wet, cold weather or snow on the ground for several weeks.
- Usually attacks fescues but can affect perennial rye grass, bent grasses and smooth stalked meadow grass..
- Over fertilizing in autumn with high Nitrogen can increase risk of occurrence.
