Fusarium Patch Disease
Identifying markers:
- Highly noticeable as yellow /brown patches that do not hold morning dew.
- Sometimes a white mould is noticeable, looks like cotton wool or cob-web laying on the surface of the damaged grass.
- Usually happens during late autumn and winter.
- climate conditions that encourage this fungi are a combination of the following: morning mists that are slow to clear due to lack of air movement, night temperatures that are above seasonal averages and reduced light levels due to the season or due to constant cloud cover.
